Rocket

WALT: Describe the experience of launching a rocket, and teach your readers about the types of energy in the rocket launch.

Last week me and my sciences class made a rocket that we launched

it was fun but the rocket that we made did not go that high.The energy the rocket use was electric energy thermal energy and motion.The heat was used to spark the fire work and  the motion was how is when up in the air and the electric energy was to exploded the rocket up in to the sky.

So when I was taking my kids to school I went down the drive way in my trolley and then I could see this steam in the ocean. I thought it was a whale breathing but then black stuff came out so then I want to see what happened at the end the BOOM!!. Tephra and loads of ash came shooting at into the sky and then black smoke came out. Next and boom blocks came out and then black smoke came rushing down also the waves they rushed and fast as possible and I knew it was to late to run. after that smoke went away likely my friend put a gas mask on me. The thing that I saw was anther land and that happen by a hotspot how the magma because the lava comes out and it cools down by the water and the how it formed a new island.

2 men went on a interesting adventure to Cook island , Samoa and Taiwan to find their ancestors. First they went to Cook island were Nathan ancestors were.They went to go see the waka and then visited a lady. Then they visited to Samoa because  Oscar wanted to open his letter with hes mum and grandma. After that they went to go visit to Taiwan cause the were Oscar ancestors were. When they got their they went to the museum to see the Taiwan people. They looked a lot like Maori because they looked a lot like Maori. They had the tattoo on they face they did hongi when they meet someone new. Also the person who took them there looked like a islander herself and her name was Ina and that was who their ancestors I thought their journey was successful They found were their ancestors came from

My Day

Today I played basketball it fun because I got most of it in. Then after that I had ENG thing  we did was a test and I learn nothing about that. Then we went to GRA the thing we did was draw and it was cool the thing I learnt was to be creative about my drawing and never fail. The thing we draw was about our juice box my favourite class was that class because we got to play games after we finish tomorrow I hope we make the juice cart.    

Describe earthquke

To day we did a experience about the earthquake with a sandwich.So the first thing we did was get four slices of bread and plate,plastic knife and nutella. The thing we did was get the bread and put nutella in it. Then we sliced it the bread represent the crust then we put jam in the middle to represent the mantle then we had to model what happen at a transform bousy and I learn the a earthquake happens by a tectonic plate and the sandwich represent the tectonic plates.

A an earthquake is two plates that try to pass each other and some of it slip.

The plates are tectonic plates. We did this with a egg the shell of it repents the lands broken into chunks. and the earthquake makes it spread apart and the lands crack.
